M3 Insurance is one of the largest independent agencies in the Midwest and a top 50 brokerage nationally—known for its deep industry expertise and commitment to innovation. Fulcrum first connected with M3 through BrokerTech Ventures (BTV), a leading accelerator co-founded by M3 CEO Mike Victorson, after Fulcrum joined the 2024 cohort.
From the beginning, the shared vision was clear: use AI to make producers and client
managers more effective by automating time-consuming proposal, policy, and servicing
workflows—without disrupting existing processes.
Transforming Proposal Creation
The partnership began with a full redesign of M3’s proposal generation process. Working closely with Fulcrum, M3 reimagined its proposals from the ground up— modernizing layout and coverage language, elevating brand presentation, and bringing consistency to both detail and design.
With proposals live, M3 saw a significant advantage in new business efficiency. Fulcrum saved the team hours on every new business proposal—work that is typically highly time-sensitive and requires extensive analysis. they had previously outsourced. The goal was to bring it back in-house without adding

Fulcrum’s AI now supports the end-to-end policy checking flow, from document ingestion to
comparison and validation, with minimal change for M3’s servicing teams. This shift has
enabled tighter control, faster turnaround, and higher accuracy—while maintaining the same
staffing model. In the first week, Fulcrum processed a backlog of over 400 policies that had yet to be reviewed.
